Bhopal Gas Tragedy – Photo: Social Media Expansion During the hearing in the Bhopal gas tragedy, the deputy director of the Indian Council of Medical Research told the bench that ICMR has written two letters to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for appointments of doctors and paramedical staff as per the requirement. Fixing the next hearing on December 5, the Jugalpeeth has issued orders to the Union Secretary of Health and Family Welfare and the Deputy Director of ICMR to be present virtually. It was said in the contempt petition that the health cards of the victims of the gas tragedy have not even been prepared. Necessary equipment and medicines are not available in the hospitals. Due to non-fixation of recruitment rules of BMHRC, doctors and para medical staff do not provide their services permanently. Huh. In the contempt petition, Secretary of Central Family Welfare Department Ranjan Bhushan, Secretary of Central Department of Chemicals and Fertilizers Aarti Ahuja, Chief Secretary of State Government Iqbal Singh Bais, Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation Department Secretary Mohammad Suleman, ICMR Senior Deputy Director R Ram And Dr. Prabha, director of BMSRC and Rajnarayan Tiwari, director of NIRE, were made non-applicants. On non-compliance of the order passed during the last hearing regarding the appointment of doctors and para medical staff in BMHRC The couple’s bench had expressed displeasure. The couple’s bench had ordered ICMR chairman R Ramakrishnan to be present virtually. During the hearing on the petition on Wednesday, he also presented an affidavit giving the above information to the couple’s bench. The couple’s bench issued the above orders after hearing.
