Vibrant Village Program approved: With this the Union Cabinet has approved Rs.4,26 crore Central Government funded scheme- Vibrant Village Program has been approved for the current financial year from 2025-17 with financial allocation. These regions include Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and the Union Territory of Ladakh. In a tweet, PM Modi said, the cabinet’s decision on the Vibrant Village program will be beneficial for many people living in remote areas and border areas.
