Delhi: Policeman Beats Dog, Court Orders To Register FIR
Delhi: A Delhi court has ordered the registration of an FIR against a police officer for allegedly beating up a dog. instructed. The court said that giving a clean chit to the accused without registering a case could have “serious consequences”. The court also noted that the police often “circumvent” the law by preparing ‘closure reports’ based on interrogation before registering an FIR.
