Kotwali police told that 233 year old Veer Singh lives in Maravi village Sarhari. There is a dispute going on in the family regarding the land. On Monday night, when Veer Singh talked about selling the land, his two grandsons Surendra Keshavram Maravi (24) and Narendra Keshavram Maravi (24) got angry and argued fiercely. From abusing, the talk reached to a fight. Veer Singh’s younger son Santosh intervened and pacified the matter. Narendra and Surendra again started arguing with Dada at around 9.30 pm. Both of them first dragged Dada Veer Singh to the courtyard and then started fighting. They were repeatedly saying that you sell the land and eat it, leaving nothing for us. Both of them attacked Veer Singh badly with sticks and rods. Veer Singh died in the courtyard itself. Neighbors and relatives informed the police.
