EWS Reservation: The Supreme Court has given its verdict in the EWS reservation case. A five-judge bench has given its verdict on the EWS reservation matter. It is being told that out of 5 judges, 3 judges are in favor of reservation from EWS quota. While hearing the matter, Justice Maheshwari said that EWS quota is not against the Constitution. In such a situation, it has now been decided that reservation from EWS quota will continue in the country. The decision of the Central Government has been approved by the Supreme Court.

Let us tell you that the five-judge constitution bench has given the decision today while hearing this matter. 88th Amendment Act of the Constitution 353, while four judges have ruled in favor of reservation, one judge has disagreed in this matter. Bench judges Dinesh Maheshwari, Bela Trivedi and JB Pardiwala upheld the EWS amendment. Chief Justice Uday U Lalit and Justice Ravindra Bhat have disagreed on this. The decision in favor of retaining the EWS amendment was taken in the ratio of 3:2.
