It was also told by the Forest Department that people have encroached and built illegal houses here. The Forest Department issued notices to the encroachers several times and instructed them to remove their unwarranted encroachments. But there was no effect on the encroachers.

Teams of Forest Department, Revenue Department and Police reached the spot on Saturday and with the help of JCB, about twenty illegal houses were razed to the ground. SDM Pradeep Tomar told that the encroachers had built their houses and huts by occupying the valuable land adjacent to the road on Gupteshwar hill, which were razed to the ground under the anti-mafia campaign.
