This decision has been taken as the conditions were not favorable for playing the cricket match there. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed this decision by issuing a press release on Monday. The board said that the temperature in the hilly areas is quite low. Because of this, now the third Test to be played between India and Australia will be held at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. The board said that the match was earlier to be played from March 1 to 5 at HPCA Stadium Dharamshala, which is now Indore. K Holkar Stadium has been shifted. It was still very cold in the mountains and because of this the outfield did not have sufficient grass density. Planting grass will also take a long time. Because of this the venue of the third Test has been changed.

So far two test matches have been played in Indore. First Test between India and New Zealand from October 8 16 1506164742 was played.
