What is Nasal Vaccine? How effective is this vaccine? , Be informed that the Nasal vaccine has been made by Bharat Biotech in association with Washington University School of Medicine (WUSM). Along with this, Bharat Biotech had also prepared Covaxin, the first indigenous vaccine of Corona. Bharat Biotech has named this nasal vaccine as iNCOVACC. Be informed that earlier its name was BBV 64. This vaccine is delivered to the body through the nose. This vaccine blocks both infection and transmission of corona as soon as it enters the body.

How does the nasal vaccine work? , To understand this, we spoke to Dr. Bharat Bhushan. He said, ‘Many microscopic viruses, including the coronavirus, enter the body through the mucosa. Nasal vaccine directly increases immunity in the mucosa. This can prevent the virus from entering inside the body. According to Dr. Bharat, ‘Nasal vaccine produces immunoglobulin A (igA) in the body. It is better to stop igA infection in the early stages itself. Nasal vaccine proves effective in doing this. This vaccine prevents infection as well as prevents it from spreading to others.
