Jabalpur: EOW Screws On PC Singh's Wife, Transferred Funds Of 72 Lakhs As Manager Of Eight Educational Places

Expansion The layers of the scam of former Bishop PC Singh, who is in jail for misappropriation of funds of educational institutions and forgery of mission property, are continuously being exposed. After making the former bishop’s son an accused, the EOW is preparing to crack down on his wife. While being the manager of eight educational places, she had unethically transferred funds worth Rs 72 lakhs.

According to EOW DSP Swaran Singh Dhami, in the investigation of the case, it has come to the fore that Nora Singh, the wife of the former bishop, was the manager of eight educational institutions run by the missionary. During his tenure as manager, he had unethically transferred around Rs 72 lakhs to different accounts. A notice is being issued to him for questioning. His involvement in the case has been exposed and legal action will be taken after interrogation.

Significantly, the EOW team had raided PC Singh’s office and house in Napier Town on 8 September. During the raid 80 lakhs of gold, 1 crore 65 lakhs of cash, Bank Accounts, 18352 US Dollars, 118 Pounds, 9 Luxury Cars, 17 Assets documents were found. PC Singh was outside the country during the raid. The EOW had arrested him from Nagpur airport. 6 and a half crore rupees were deposited in the bank in the name of his family members. Apart from this, he had bought the valuable land in Mission Compound for half the price in his own name. As a bishop, he sold the land and bought it himself as a buyer. There are 60 cases registered against him in different states across the country.

During interrogation, Bhopal Bishop Manoj Sharan had informed the EOW about getting the land of the school located in Neemuch under Bhopal Diocese, in the name of his trust, by former Bishop PC Singh. In Seoni and Damoh, the principals of government-recognized missionary schools had informed PC Singh about taking money from the school during interrogation. The EOW had named Piyush, the son of the former bishop, as an accused in the case. The son is in judicial custody and his bail application is pending in the High Court. After the son of the former bishop, his wife is also under EOW’s radar. ,
