Former Bishop PC Singh – Photo: Social Media Expansion Former PC Singh, arrested in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur for misappropriating the funds of educational institutions by fraudulently forming a committee and misappropriating the property of the mission, has got relief from the High Court. A single bench of High Court Justice Nandita Dubey has given the benefit of conditional bail to the former bishop. The ex-bishop has to surrender his passport to the EOW. Significantly, the team of EOW Jabalpur raided the office and house of Bishop PC Singh in Napier Town on 8th September. Was given During the raid 118 gold worth lakhs, one crore 65 Lakh rupees cash, Bank Accounts, US Dollars, pound, 9 luxury cars, 12 documents of the properties were found. The bishop was out of the country during the raid. EOW arrested Bishop from Nagpur Airport on September and produced him in court Was. Was. The EOW had taken Bishop on four-day remand for questioning. During remand he 17 along with FD 174 had given information about bank accounts. He had bought the precious land located in Mission Compound in his own name at half the price. As a bishop, he sold the land and bought it himself as the buyer. There are 118 cases registered against him in different states across the country. Without permission, he had got the organization registered fraudulently. The application for bail was filed for the second time on behalf of the former bishop. The single bench had reserved the decision of the hearing on 01 January. The order issued by the single bench states that the benefit of bail is to give relief to the accused from imprisonment. The State Government is also relieved of the burden of the accused. Relief cannot be denied to the accused in a criminal case because he has hurt the social sentiments. The petitioner is in judicial defense since last 414 days and challan has been presented against him in the court. He has been made ineffective by removing him from the post of bishop and moderator. Bank accounts have also been seized. Single bench has granted the benefit of conditional bail to the accused.
