MP High Court: Appointment List Of Assistant Professor Not Issued Even After Order, Will Have To Answer In Four Weeks

Expansion A petition was filed in the High Court challenging the non-appointment of persons with disabilities to the post of Assistant Professor despite the order issued by the High Court of Madhya Pradesh. It has been said in the petition that no list has been prepared with regard to giving appointments to the differently-abled according to the reservation for the post of Assistant Professor. The High Court’s Chief Justice Ravi Vijay Kumar Malimath and Justice Vishal Mishra have issued notices to the petitioners and sought their reply within four weeks. Let us tell you that the petition was filed by guest lecturer Ramakant Tiwari. It said that they fall under the category of handicapped. In the year 2017 for the post of Assistant Professor, MPPSC had conducted the examination by issuing advertisement. In which he appeared, but the selection was not done. According to the rules, he should have got reservation for being disabled, which was not found. Against which he filed a petition in the High Court. The High Court had issued orders to make a new selection list while issuing the order to provide reservation to the differently-abled as per the rules. The petition said that it has been more than a year since the order passed by the High Court. The new selection list is not yet released by the MPPSC. Due to which the posts of Assistant Professor are lying vacant in Government Colleges. In the petition, the Principal Secretary and Commissioner Higher Education Department and MPPSC were made non-applicants. Advocate Aditya Sanghi appeared on behalf of the petitioner. ,
