Expansion The Single Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court Justice Vivek Agarwal has stayed the order of Bhopal Collector banning hookah bar and lounge operator. The single bench has issued notices to the appellants and sought their response.
In the petition filed on behalf of Anmol Balwani, the proprietor of Qijil Clutcher, it was said that the Bhopal Collector has filed a petition under Section of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The Collector had issued these orders after the statement of the Additional Chief Secretary, in which he had said that a new law would be brought to ban hookah bars.
