MP News: Bus Going To President's Program Overturned In Shahdol, One Killed, 32 Injured

The bus going to participate in the President’s program overturned. – Photo: Expansion 1668497900 A bus going to participate in the state level program of Birsa Munda Jayanti i.e. Tribal Pride Day organized in Shahdol Overturned uncontrollably. Bus No. MP-15 PA 750 Near Kundaval of Sihora was going to Shahdol with passengers. President Draupadi Murmu is also participating in the program organized in Shahdol. The passenger bus that left Sihora overturned uncontrollably in Pakriya village of Umariapan. As soon as the information about the incident came, the local administration reached the spot and with the help of the villagers took the injured out of the bus. The injured were admitted to Umariapan Health Center for first aid. One died in the accident. According to administrative officials, the name of the deceased is Anshu Kol (resident of Kudaval). Senior officials including Collector Avi Prasad and SP Sunil Jain reached the house of the deceased and consoled him. Some of the injured have been referred to the hospital in Jabalpur for treatment. Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath has expressed grief over the accident. He wrote on social media that the bus going to attend President Draupadi Murmu’s program met with an accident in Katni district, causing casualties to many people.
