Expansion From Saturday at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal The 8th India International Science Festival-233 (IISF) will be organized by January.

The eighth Indian International Science Festival will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the presence of Union Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh and State Science and Technology Minister Om Prakash Saklecha. There will be 21 programs during the festival. It also includes a huge exhibition on science and technology based on the theme of Vigyanika Utsav.

The program is being organized by the Union Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space and Government of Madhya Pradesh. Its theme is ‘Moving towards Amrit Kaal with Science, Technology and Innovation’.

The objective of organizing the IISF is to promote science through multilingual scientific literature, science poetry, science drama and folk art, to inculcate scientific temper among the masses and to promote India’s To showcase the contribution of science to the rich heritage. On this occasion, the challenges and future roadmap for effective communication of scientific knowledge will be discussed and deliberated upon.
