2022Extension In Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh Three people, including two Assistant Garrison Engineers (AGEs) posted at 3 EME Center in Bairagarh, have been arrested by the CBI for taking bribe. CBI investigation has revealed that the accused used to take bribe by sending fake notices to the operators of the firm supplying human resources and material in the army.

CBI’s inquiry revealed that the role of a senior officer in the whole case is suspicious. The accused were taking bribe at his behest. The three officers arrested by the CBI were produced in a special court, from where they were sent on remand for three days.

A firm had complained to the CBI that a notice of about Rs.8 lakh has been sent to it. Money is being sought for its settlement. When the firm operator met Army garrison engineer Ajay Aggarwal regarding the notice, he asked to meet garrison J John Kennedy and AGE Rajendra Singh Yadav. Who asked for a bribe of Rs. In this, Kennedy had asked for 1 lakh rupees and later 10 started demanding thousand rupees. After catching Kennedy red handed, the CBI recovered Rs 5.47 in cash from the cupboard in his office . The CBI has also raided Kennedy’s home in Coimbatore. ,
