Actually Biju Janata Dal MP Bhartrihari Mahtab asked five questions including the old pension scheme from the central government and sought answers. He asked the Government, will the Finance Minister be pleased to state

(a) whether the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) is being implemented in certain States of the country. (b) If so, the details thereof and the reaction of the Government thereto.

(d) Whether the additional financial burden due to OPS is likely to increase the debt of the State Governments and if so, What are the details thereof and the reaction of the Government thereon.

(e) What steps have been taken by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority in this regard?
