According to information, a bear attacked a villager on Monday afternoon in Dharkundi forest under Majhgawan forest range. Jeevan’s father Tulsa resident Tikra was seriously injured in the attack. There are deep wounds on his head and face and other parts of the body. He was first taken to Birsinghpur Health Center from where the doctor referred him to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel District Hospital Satna.
Injured Jeevan told, he was passing near Madwa Pathar mountain. Then a bear hiding somewhere in the forest attacked him. The bear caught him and started attacking him with his claws. Jeevan told that for some time he did not understand anything, but then he tried to get rid of the clutches of the bear. As soon as the bear’s screws came loose after a great struggle, Jeevan rushed in and started screaming loudly. Life was saved at that time, but by then the bear had badly injured his body.
After the incident, there is an atmosphere of panic among the villagers about the bear. Taking this incident seriously, the officials of the Forest Department have also increased the surveillance in the forest. The villagers have also been advised to take precautions. ,
