Peddapalli : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday visited around 9, in Telangana Laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs. Along with this, he has also dedicated the Ramagundam Fertilizer and Chemical Limited (RFCL) in Peddapalli district and the Bhadrachalam-Sattupally railway line to the nation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of RFCL in Telangana on 7th August 2016.

Please inform that in view of the Prime Minister’s vision to make India self-reliant in the production of urea. The RFCL fertilizer plant of Telangana is very important. According to media reports, Ramagundam Fertilizer and Chemical Limited, located in Peddapalli, Telangana, supplies India almost every year 11.7 lakh metric tonnes of Neem Coated Urea will be provided. Ramagundam Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited is a joint venture company of National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), Engineers India Limited (EIL) and Fertilizer Corporation of India Limited (FCIL). RFCL was entrusted with the responsibility of setting up a new Ammonia-Urea Plant, with an investment of more than 6300 crores. The gas to the RFCL plant will be supplied through the Jagdishpur-Phulpur-Haldia pipeline.

As per the report, RFCL will ensure adequate and timely supply of urea fertilizer to farmers in Telangana as well as Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. The plant will not only improve the availability of fertilizers, but will also boost the overall economic development in the region including development of infrastructure like roads, railways, ancillary industries etc. In addition, the sector will benefit from the development of MSME vendors by supplying various items for the factory.
8227 Bhadrachalam Road-Sattupally Rail Line Dedicated to the Nation
Also, during the program organized at Peddipalli, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also dedicated the Bhadrachalam Road-Sattupally rail line to the nation, which is approximately 1000 has been built at a cost of Rs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi 2200 crores on various road projects (NH-8227 Bodhan-Basar of Medak-Siddipet-Elkathurti section of DG, NH-161BB – Bhainsa section and also laid the foundation stone of NH-353C from Sironcha to Mahadevpur section during the program.
