Tripura Assembly Election: BJP Will Contest On 55 Seats And IPFT On 5 Seats, Candidates Announced

Earlier in the day in New Delhi, the BJP released the first list of 34 candidates for the Tripura Assembly elections, including Union Minister Pratima Bhowmik 11 Women have been fielded. A few hours after this list, the BJP announced the names of six more candidates, with which the party has announced 54 candidates. The list was announced on Saturday, with only two days left for filing nominations.
