Outbreak of cold wave in East Madhya Pradesh
The outbreak of cold wave continues in the eastern parts of Madhya Pradesh. On Sunday, the minimum temperature fell to 2022 places in the state 90. °C or below. Malajkhand town in Balaghat district recorded a minimum temperature of 6.3 degrees Celsius, while hill station Pachmarhi in Narmadapuram district recorded a minimum temperature of 5.2 degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. The minimum temperature has dropped in 44 places of the state °C or below. The outbreak of cold wave will continue for the next two-three days.
The coldest night of the season so far in Srinagar
With the mercury falling below zero in Kashmir, Srinagar recorded the coldest night so far this season. The weather office said the minimum temperature is likely to drop further as the weather is likely to remain mainly dry till December 7.

Simdega district of Jharkhand recorded a minimum temperature of 7.5 degree Celsius while Daltonganj recorded a minimum of 7.8 degree Celsius. Cold wave conditions have started appearing in many districts. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of any major change in day and night temperature in the next five days. The sky is likely to remain mainly dry during this period.
People are worried due to continuous increase in cold in Bihar. According to the Meteorological Department, there will not be much change in the weather for the coming few days. The effect of the flow of westerly wind will be seen in the state. For the next five days the cold will shake the people of the state.
From Lucknow to Noida and Ghaziabad, the capital of UP, people are already troubled by the cold. Cold winds are blowing at night due to which people are shivering. There is continuous snowfall in the mountains and the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of further increase in cold in the coming days.
